Snails, Worms, Algae and Diatoms

Entities with more complexity than plants are less fortunate. Just 30 minutes in the CO2 solution eliminated 100% of the snails, worms and pests of all kinds, via asphyxiation.

Worms of all types seem to expire almost immediately. Snails expired by minute 20. Unhatched eggs remained alive but roved in-viable. Algae and diatom expiration required 9-12 hours. Unhatched eggs perished within this same period.

Bottom Image:   After 30 minutes in a CO2 solution. Nematodes lost most of their mass and most of their elasticity.
